Blanchetts custom make heirloom quality upholstered furniture throughout New Zealand. Each piece is designed specifically for your body and your space. From sofas, chairs, stools, ottomans and daybeds to headboards and cushions in a range of traditional and contemporary styles. Our frames are made from sustainably milled beech timber, they are then dowelled, glued and screwed together to ensure superior strength and durability so that we guarantee a lifetime of use. We then use traditional methods of hand lashing springs along with a selection of NZ made foam, ergo or feather along with the option to use New Zealand wool. We have an extensive fabric library for our clients to choose from. We show our pieces in our purpose built showroom and retail shop in Palmerston North along with offering reupholstery, furniture restoration and curtain making services.
