Greg Mirams’ farming roots led him to pioneer a world-first online diagnostic platform for the livestock industry. In 2011 he founded Techion to develop FECPAKG2 – a digital microscope and integrated software that provided point-of-care parasite counts. FECPAKG2 empowers farmers, veterinarians and advisors to make informed decisions about animal health including whether to treat animals, ensuring treatment is evidence-based. FECPAKG2 is powered by the Micro-I digital microscope which takes a series of images of each sample which are sent via the cloud for analysis by a technician or AI with the result then reported to decision-makers and their advisors.
